Châtel is a far cry from the purpose built resorts often associated with the larger ski areas in France. As well as wonderful skiing in winter, the valley offers opportunities for walking, cycling and white water rafting in summer.
Châtel still operates as a farming village and is therefore open all year round and has excellent shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance.
The chalet itself has an indoor swimming pool with large folding doors opening onto its own private garden. The owners have designed this property to be a chalet in the winter and a villa in the summer. For those that like the outdoor life, this is a year round location. |
